Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Friday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Night). Primary schedule is nights (Fri-Sun 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM); schedule may also include a mix of 10- and 12-hour day and night shifts as needed. Schedule is assigned and posted at least 2 weeks in advance; weekend and holiday coverage required when scheduled. Call is optional with a 45-minute response expectation.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform all routine CT examinations for inpatient, outpatient and ED populations with accuracy and compassion
- Deliver trauma imaging and time-sensitive studies quickly and safely to support emergency care
- Execute advanced procedures such as cardiac CT, biopsy/drain procedures, and cryo/microwave ablations
- Start IVs for outpatients when needed and monitor patient safety during contrast administration
- Operate and troubleshoot GE REV CT and GE REV HD scanners and maintain image quality standards
- Use EPIC for charting and SECTRA PACS for image management, ensuring complete and timely documentation
- Collaborate closely with on-site radiologists, supervisors, and modality leads to optimize patient throughput
- Follow radiation safety protocols at all times and wear required radiation badge
Qualifications
- ARRT certified: ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) verification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Radiation badge required prior to starting the travel assignment
- Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience
- Proven ability to perform trauma imaging and routine CT exams
- Comfortable starting IVs for outpatients (IV skills very helpful)
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays as scheduled and to respond to optional call within 45 minutes
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong familiarity with CT imaging protocols including trauma and cardiac CT
- Experience with PACS (SECTRA) and EMR charting in EPIC
- Comfort using Windows-based workstation software
- Hands-on experience with GE REV CT and GE REV HD scanners
- Knowledge of radiation safety practices and badge requirements
- Skills in IV insertion and contrast administration
- Experience with interventional/supportive procedures like biopsy/drain and ablation workflows
