Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams in Abdomen and OB/GYN specialties
• Operate ultrasound equipment safely and efficiently to capture diagnostic images
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to support accurate, timely diagnoses
• Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication before, during, and after exams
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in line with protocols
• Follow infection control and safety standards while supporting OR and imaging workflows
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment and report issues promptly
• Contribute to a positive team environment and help improve imaging services

Qualifications

• ARDMS credentials (or equivalent) in Abdomen — required upon submission
• ARDMS credentials (or equivalent) in OB/GYN — required upon submission
• Current unencumbered Oregon Sonography license — required
• Healthcare Provider BLS certification — required
• Experience in a hospital setting — preferred
• Comfort and reliability working night and weekend shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging protocols for Abdomen and OB/GYN
• Proficiency operating diagnostic ultrasound equipment and image optimization
• Good patient positioning, assessment, and respectful communication skills
• Ability to follow clinical protocols, documentation standards, and safety practices
• Teamwork and the ability to collaborate with radiologists, surgeons, and nurses
• Time management and the ability to perform under the pace of a hospital setting
