Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and lift equipment
• Take and record vital signs and observe changes in patient condition for timely reporting
• Provide compassionate, respectful care that preserves patient dignity and comfort
• Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the nursing team
• Help maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification; T-CNA accepted
• Active healthcare provider CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass facility background checks and required health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Previous patient care experience is a plus but new CNAs who are eager to learn are encouraged to apply

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Current CNA certification (state-appropriate) required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing care and ADLs
• Comfortable with patient transfers, positioning, and mobility assistance
• Familiarity with infection prevention and standard precautions
• Accurate documentation and charting skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with nurses and therapists
