Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist residents with activities of daily living
• Take and record vital signs, communicate changes to the nursing team promptly
• Support safe transfers and mobility assistance while promoting resident independence
• Follow care plans and document care accurately and timely
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control practices
• Work collaboratively with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care
• Engage residents with dignity, respect, and a positive attitude to enhance quality of life

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification — required
• Travel LNA (T-LNA) classification indicated (T-LNA) or willingness to obtain travel designation
• Current CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to work weekends as noted in the schedule
• Clear background checks and any facility-specific onboarding requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable assisting with ADLs, hygiene, feeding, and mobility support
• Basic clinical skills: taking vitals, reporting changes, and accurate charting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with residents and families
• Team player who follows care plans and collaborates with nursing staff
• Good time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
