Shift Type: Night shift, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating nights including every other weekend and holidays (Night)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
- Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with hospital policies and state practice acts
- Document care and patient status clearly and timely according to standards of care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patients' longitudinal plans of care
- Develop and execute patient care plans and provide patient and family education
- Participate in unit performance improvement and shared governance activities
- Apply critical thinking to escalate patient safety concerns through the appropriate chain of command
Qualifications
- Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- NIHSS certification required
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Influenza vaccination required
- Experience as a Travel RN and/or Float Pool experience preferred
- Comfort working nights and providing coverage on every other weekend and holidays
- Ability to float among Medical, Surgical/Pediatrics, Orthopedics/Neuroscience, and Sub-Acute units

- Strong command of the nursing process and patient care planning
- Safe medication administration and accurate clinical documentation
- Patient safety practices and escalation procedures
- Interdisciplinary collaboration and clear communication
- Critical thinking and clinical judgment across varied inpatient settings
- Adaptability to different unit workflows and patient populations
