Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, expert ICU nursing care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement and evaluate for critically ill patients
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring and promptly communicate clinical changes and abnormal results to the care team
• Deliver direct patient care and coordinate activities of other nursing personnel to maintain ICU standards
• Educate patients and families — explain complex conditions and care plans with clarity and compassion
• Respond quickly and accurately to patient condition changes and evolving treatment needs
• Maintain patient privacy, confidentiality, and documentation in EPIC EMR with attention to detail

Qualifications

• Current and valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• DCI/BVP certification (listed in required certifications)
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a staff RN in an acute care hospital, with critical care/ICU experience
• EPIC EMR experience required
• CCRN certification preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination/boosters preferred
• Ability to complete facility onboarding: drug screen, TB test, immunizations, fit test and required exams/checklists

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking in high-acuity ICU settings
• Hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation of diagnostic data
• Care planning, implementation and outcome evaluation for critically ill patients
• Patient and family education with clear, compassionate communication
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR documentation and clinical workflows
• ICU-focused clinical skills and teamwork in a fast-paced environment
