Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting) with dignity and respect
• Take and record vital signs, reporting changes to the nursing team promptly
• Provide compassionate bedside care and emotional support to residents and families
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation to support continuity of care
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to implement care plans
• Follow infection control practices and promote a safe environment for residents
• Support patient mobility and fall-prevention efforts through attentive care

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (T-CNA classification noted) — must be active in the appropriate state
• Comfortable providing hands-on resident care and working in a team environment
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents, families, and clinical staff
• Willingness to complete facility-required onboarding and health screenings

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs and basic patient care
• Knowledge of vital signs, resident observation, and documentation best practices
• Familiarity with infection control and patient safety procedures
• Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to changing patient needs
• Team-oriented attitude and strong interpersonal skills
