Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room and specialized equipment (HANA fracture/anterior hip table and Jackson table) for surgical cases
• Assist surgeons and anesthesiology teams during Neuro Spine, Urology, Orthopedics, and Endoscopy procedures
• Provide perioperative patient assessment and safe patient positioning for spinal fusion, discectomy, and laminectomy cases
• Document perioperative care and patient information accurately in EPIC
• Maintain sterile technique, instrument readiness, and OR supply management
• Respond quickly and professionally to intraoperative needs, call-backs, and emergent situations
• Communicate clearly with the surgical team, patients, and families to ensure patient-centered care
• Support continuous quality improvement and follow facility policies and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact (must be uploaded with submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience (required)
• Current HANA table experience (fracture table/anterior hip) — required and non-negotiable
• Jackson table experience (required)
• EPIC experience (required)
• Competence in Neuro Spine procedures, including spinal fusion, discectomy, and laminectomy (must be noted on profile)
• Active American Heart Association BLS (AHA) certification (required)
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years (required)
• Traveler must have own vehicle and permanent address included on profile
• Previous travel experience strongly preferred

Education

• Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact (required)

• EPIC clinical documentation and perioperative workflows

• Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability in a fast-paced surgical setting
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
