Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients thoroughly to identify impairments, functional limitations, and goals
• Develop individualized treatment plans targeting strength, range of motion, balance, safety and function
• Implement therapeutic interventions including therapeutic exercise and balance training
• Educate patients and caregivers on effective home exercise programs and self-management strategies
• Monitor progress, update plans of care, and document outcomes clearly and timely
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient flow and reduce wait times
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care that improves safety and independence

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (as stated in job posting)
• Current Colorado PT licensure (DORA) or eligibility via Compact license
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 2 years of physical therapy experience; 3-5 years preferred
• Experience in outpatient clinic settings is preferred
• Flu vaccination required (provide copy or agree to obtain per clinic policy)
• Ability to work a 4 x 10-hour weekday schedule and adapt to varying clinic hours

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient evaluation and clinical reasoning for outpatient diagnoses
• Treatment planning and progression of therapeutic exercise
• Design and instruction of home exercise programs
• Balance and safety training techniques and fall-risk management
• Range of motion improvement strategies and manual/therapeutic interventions
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Familiarity with outpatient documentation and care coordination
