Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform orthopedic radiographic exams with precision and patient-centered care
• Operate and manage image capture and storage using Merge PACS
• Document imaging procedures and results accurately in Epic
• Collaborate with radiologists, orthopedic teams, and support staff to optimize workflows
• Ensure patient safety by following infection control, radiation safety, and facility protocols
• Complete required competency testing and skills checklists to maintain high standards
• Assist with equipment checks, basic troubleshooting, and maintaining exam rooms

Qualifications

• ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• Current BLS certification
• Demonstrated experience with Epic and Merge PACS (required)
• License/certificate verification as required by facility policies
• Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
• Successful completion of pre-employment health requirements (fit test, drug screen, vaccinations, TB testing, etc.)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of orthopedic imaging techniques and positioning
• Proficiency with PACS workflows and image management (Merge PACS)
• Comfortable using Epic for orders, documentation, and results
• Excellent patient communication and positioning skills
• Familiarity with radiation safety and quality assurance practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
