Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate bedside care to residents, prioritizing dignity and respect
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to orders
• Perform routine assessments and promptly report changes in condition
• Document care and patient responses clearly and timely in the medical record
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and providers to support individual care plans
• Support admissions, discharges, and care transitions to ensure continuity
• Participate in infection control, safety, and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Current LPN license or eligible for LPN licensure in North Carolina
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or willing to obtain
• Previous experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or acute care preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively on a night team
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent LPN training

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid nursing fundamentals including medication administration and patient assessment
• Familiarity with charting and electronic health records
• Knowledge of infection control and safety best practices
• Ability to manage time and prioritize in a fast-paced setting
• Team-oriented mindset with good critical thinking and problem-solving skills
