Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients on assigned shifts
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to orders
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and escalate concerns promptly
• Document care, assessments, and interventions clearly and professionally
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support continuity of care
• Support patients and families with education, reassurance, and discharge planning

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in New Mexico (or compact/reciprocal as allowed) — must be active and in good standing
• Completion of an accredited LPN program
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Minimum recent experience in a clinical setting as an LPN; facility-preferred experience in med-surg/long-term care
• Ability to pass facility background checks and required health screenings
• Local candidates only (onsite work at the Albuquerque facility)

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program; high school diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
• Comfort working overnight with good prioritization and time management
• Clear, professional communication with patients, families, and team members
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
• Infection control and patient safety best practices
• Ability to work independently while collaborating as part of a team
