Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on each assigned shift
- Perform timely assessments, document findings, and communicate changes to the care team
- Administer medications and treatments safely and according to facility policy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update care plans
- Support patients and families with education, comfort, and clear communication
- Ensure accurate handoffs and maintain high standards of infection control and safety
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential
- Current basic life support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Prior clinical experience in a long-term care or similar setting is a plus
- Ability to pass facility onboarding requirements and background checks
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (LPN/LVN diploma or RN diploma/ADN/BSN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Sound clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Medication administration and documentation proficiency
- Comfortable with electronic health records and basic charting
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care environment
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong patient advocacy
