Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert peri-procedural nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, interventional radiology, and neuro thrombectomy procedures
• Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data to support timely clinical decisions
• Assist physicians and the cath lab team during complex interventions and emergency STEMI activations
• Document thoroughly and accurately in EPIC to ensure continuity of care and compliance
• Manage on-call responsibilities professionally — respond to emergencies on scheduled weekends and evenings
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes in an acute care setting
• Maintain a safe, sterile procedural environment and uphold accrediting standards of the STEMI center

Qualifications

• Active RN license (required)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience (Cath Lab/Interventional experience preferred)
• Current ACLS (AHA) certification required
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• Experience or willingness to work with EPIC charting
• Familiarity with Phillips imaging and Merge Hemodynamics/CPACS is a plus
• Comfort with on-call rotations and responding to emergent procedures

Education

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BSN not required for submission

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong skills in cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Knowledge of hemodynamics monitoring and interpretation
• Experience supporting neuro thrombectomy cases
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic charting systems
• Familiarity with Phillips imaging platforms and Merge Hemodynamics/CPACS
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and teamwork abilities
