Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality General, Vascular, and Echocardiography studies with clinical accuracy and compassion
- Operate ultrasound equipment, document findings, and ensure images meet departmental standards
- Collaborate with physicians and the care team to deliver timely diagnostic information that impacts patient care
- Provide on-call coverage and respond promptly when needed; live within 20 minutes of the hospital while on-call
- Work independently in a rural hospital setting, managing case flow and prioritizing urgent exams
- Support cross-facility coverage between KVMH and SMMH and adapt to changing site needs
Qualifications
- ARDMS registration/certification in General, Vascular, and Echocardiography (required)
- Proven experience performing General, Vascular, and Echo studies — must meet all modality experience requirements
- Ability to work independently and confidently in a rural hospital environment
- Willingness and ability to provide on-call coverage, weekend and holiday shifts, and overtime as needed
- Flexibility to work at multiple facilities (KVMH and SMMH) and adapt to variable schedules
- Must reside within 20 minutes of the hospital while on-call
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in sonographic imaging across General, Vascular, and Echocardiography modalities
- Strong patient-care orientation and clear communication skills
- Proficiency operating ultrasound systems and understanding image quality standards
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and handle emergent studies under limited-resources conditions
- Comfortable working across sites and collaborating with a multidisciplinary rural care team
