Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document appropriately
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the care team
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
• Support individualized care plans and help promote resident comfort and dignity
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to facility policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential required
• Eligible to practice as an LPN in West Virginia
• Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• Professional, compassionate approach and strong communication skills
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings is a plus

Education

• Practical Nursing diploma or LPN certificate (or equivalent)

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamentals of resident care and safety
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Basic assessment skills and the ability to identify changes in condition
• Effective communication with residents, families, and care teams
• Time management and reliable clinical documentation
