Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility safely
- Monitor and accurately document vital signs and patient status
- Communicate changes in condition clearly to nurses and the care team
- Maintain a clean, safe, and dignified environment for residents
- Participate in shift handoffs and contribute to care planning
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
- Professional attitude, strong teamwork, and excellent communication skills
- Willingness to pass background check and drug screen as required
- Flexible for travel and available for the full assignment period
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred; active CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Safe patient transfers and proper body mechanics
- Assistance with ADLs and feeding
- Infection control and proper PPE use
- Basic charting and documentation skills
- Observational skills to spot subtle changes in condition
- Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
