Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic exams while maintaining patient safety and comfort
• Operate imaging equipment and ensure images meet departmental and physician standards
• Float between Outpatient Imaging and the main hospital as assigned to support patient care needs
• Accurately document procedures and chart in EPIC EMR in a timely manner
• Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain proper shielding and exposure limits
• Collaborate with the trauma team and other caregivers during Level II trauma activations
• Provide compassionate patient care, explain procedures, and answer patient questions
• Maintain equipment cleanliness, perform basic QC checks, and report issues promptly

Qualifications

• Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) issued by the California Department of Health Services (required)
• Current CPR certification (required)
• Valid Fluoroscopy permit for California (required)
• Experience with EPIC EMR charting (required)
• At least 2 years of acute care radiography experience preferred
• Previous successful completion of travel assignments is a plus
• Ability and willingness to float between Outpatient Imaging and the main hospital

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in general radiography and fluoroscopic procedures
• Familiarity with EPIC charting and electronic imaging workflows
• Strong trauma imaging experience and ability to work in a fast-paced Level II trauma environment
• Excellent patient positioning and image acquisition technique
• Knowledge of radiation safety and quality control procedures
• Solid communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Comfortable with outpatient and inpatient imaging settings
