Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care for patients with dignity and respect
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Monitor and report changes in patient conditions to nursing staff promptly
- Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics every time
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate clearly with the care team
- Uphold infection control practices and a clean, safe patient environment
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification (state-certified Certified Nursing Assistant)
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable working overnight 12-hour shifts including weekends
- Reliable, compassionate communicator who works well in a team
- Ability to pass facility background checks and required screenings
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of an accredited CNA program and active certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong foundational nursing assistant skills and patient care techniques
- Knowledge of ADLs, vital signs, basic charting, and documentation
- Familiarity with infection prevention and safety procedures
- Good teamwork, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to follow care plans and accept direction from licensed nurses
