Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour day and night shifts (exact start/end times vary by unit), rotating weekends, no call rotation

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert respiratory care and diagnostic procedures to cardiopulmonary patients of all ages and acuity levels
- Manage ventilators and deliver advanced critical care respiratory support
- Perform neonatal and pediatric respiratory interventions with confidence and compassion
- Assess patient status, interpret respiratory data, and recommend evidence-based interventions
- Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Document treatments, ventilator settings, and progress clearly and accurately in the medical record
- Adhere to infection control policies and facility protocols, including vaccination requirements
Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - required (CRT candidates cannot be considered)
- Valid Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist license (DORA-RT) in good standing
- Completion of an approved Respiratory Therapy program as required for licensure
- Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP - all required
- Neonatal and pediatric respiratory experience required
- Strong critical care and ventilator management experience
- Flu vaccine required (no declinations permitted)
- Professional, team-oriented attitude and excellent communication skills
Education
- Completion of an accredited/approved Respiratory Therapy program (required for licensure)

- Advanced ventilator management and respiratory equipment expertise
- Critical care assessment and intervention skills
- Neonatal and pediatric respiratory care knowledge
- Proficiency in respiratory diagnostic procedures
- Strong clinical decision-making and patient safety focus
- Clear documentation and charting skills
- Ability to work effectively on rotating shifts and within multidisciplinary teams
