Candidate Pay Rate: $24 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing and mobility
- Safely transfer and reposition residents using proper body mechanics
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output and any changes in condition
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and emotional support to residents
- Communicate observations and care updates clearly to nurses and the care team
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
- Document care accurately and timely in the resident record
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (state-required) — active and in good standing
- Minimum relevant experience as a nursing assistant preferred
- Current basic life support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Ability to pass facility background and health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program and certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on patient care and ADL assistance
- Safe transfer and positioning techniques
- Basic vital signs measurement and reporting
- Familiarity with infection prevention and PPE use
- Accurate documentation and time-management skills
- Empathy, patience and strong interpersonal skills
