Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
• Support patient mobility and safe transfers, promoting independence where possible
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and family members to deliver person centered care
• Help create a welcoming, dignified environment that supports patient comfort and recovery

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification, VT or NH
• Completion of an approved LNA training program
• Comfortable working in long term care or similar care settings
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to start for the posted contract dates and fulfill the assignment

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved LNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing care and resident assistance techniques
• Skill in taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
• Ability to document care clearly and follow care plans
• Compassionate bedside manner and good observational skills
