Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care with compassion and clinical accuracy
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings clearly in the medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes, escalating concerns when needed
• Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatments, and discharge plans
• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license (RN or LPN) — appropriate state licensure required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications a plus
• Clinical experience in acute care or relevant nursing setting preferred
• Current immunizations and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, diploma, or BSN preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage time during long shifts
• Compassionate patient- and family-centered care approach
• Teamwork, adaptability, and professionalism in clinical environments
