Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist with gross description and dissection of surgical tissues, performing careful and accurate examinations
• Submit specimens for histological and other laboratory testing in a timely, compliant manner
• Summarize patient medical history clearly to support diagnostic accuracy
• Collaborate effectively with pathologists, laboratory staff, and the broader medical team to ensure quality patient care
• Maintain meticulous records and follow laboratory procedures and standards for quality and accountability
• Perform required physical tasks, including intermittent hand manipulation and lifting/carrying (up to 50 lbs) as needed
• Contribute to a respectful, compassionate, and collaborative workplace culture

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Health Science or Pathology (required)
• ASCP Certification (required)
• Minimum 1 year technical experience in a healthcare setting
• Comfortable with hands-on specimen handling and basic lab workflows
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to perform intermittent lifting and manual tasks as described
