Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor residents, report changes in condition, and communicate observations to the nursing team
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe patient handling to promote dignity and independence
• Perform routine tasks such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting with respect and privacy
• Document care accurately and timely in the patient record to support continuity of care
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control best practices
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to support individualized care plans
• Engage with residents and families to provide emotional support and enhance quality of life

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• Authorization or ability to obtain/state licensure in New Mexico as applicable
• Comfortable working scheduled night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on Tue, Wed, Thu
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care and assistance with ADLs
• Basic vital signs monitoring and observation skills
• Infection control and safe hygiene practices
• Accurate documentation and charting
• Effective teamwork and clear communication
• Time management and ability to prioritize tasks on busy shifts
