Shift Type: Two 12-hour day shifts per week (day shifts). Exact start/end times are facility-dependent and should be confirmed with the manager; no on-call.

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert respiratory therapy and ventilator management for patients of all ages and acuity levels
- Deliver specialized neonatal and pediatric respiratory care in a Level 2 NICU setting
- Perform cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures and interpret results to guide care
- Collaborate closely with nurses, neonatologists, and the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow facility policies and protocols
- Demonstrate and promote infection control practices (flu vaccine required during Oct–Mar)
Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) — required (CRT not considered)
- Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist license (DORA-RT) in good standing
- Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications — all required
- Neonatal and pediatric experience, including Level 2 NICU experience
- Strong critical care and ventilator management skills
- Proof of flu vaccine (required October through March)
- Completion of an approved Respiratory Therapy program as required for licensure
Education
- Completion of an approved Respiratory Therapy program (required for licensure)
Knowledge & Skills
- Ventilator management and mechanical ventilation for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
- Critical care principles and bedside assessment of complex patients
- Neonatal and pediatric respiratory care, including Level 2 NICU competencies
- Cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures and interpretation
- Ability to manage a broad range of acuities and adapt quickly in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Clear clinical communication and teamwork skills
