Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert respiratory care and ventilator management for patients of all ages and acuity levels
- Perform cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures with accuracy and clinical judgement
- Deliver neonatal and pediatric respiratory care in a Level 2 NICU setting
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient-centered respiratory plans
- Respond quickly and effectively to critical events, applying life support protocols (BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP)
- Maintain clear documentation and ensure continuity of care during night shift transitions
Qualifications
- Current RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) — CRT candidates will not be considered
- Valid Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist license (DORA-RT) in good standing
- Completion of an approved Respiratory Therapy program as required for licensure
- Current American Heart Association certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP — ALL required
- Demonstrated critical care and mechanical ventilation experience
- Neonatal and pediatric respiratory experience, including Level 2 NICU exposure
- Proof of flu vaccine required prior to assignment
- Resume and skill sheet required for submission
Education
- Completion of an approved Respiratory Therapy program (as required for licensure)

- Mechanical ventilation and advanced ventilator management
- Critical care principles and hemodynamic awareness
- Neonatal and pediatric respiratory care techniques
- Cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures and interpretation
- Life support protocols (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP)
- Strong clinical assessment and patient/family communication skills
