Shift Type: Rotating nights including weekends, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM NOC (includes 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks and 2 on-call shifts per 6 weeks)

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze cardiac rhythms for a high-volume patient load using GE Carescape
- Interpret telemetry and escalate critical events to floor staff quickly and professionally
- Build accurate end-of-shift reports and manage patient add/discharge processes in the monitoring system
- Communicate clearly with bedside teams via desktop phone and iPhone application to coordinate care
- Maintain a running call log and document communications and events thoroughly
- Stay calm and focused under pressure while multitasking across many monitored patients
Qualifications
- Telemetry-competent monitor tech with the ability to pass a basic cardiac rhythm test
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (as listed in the posting)
- Previous remote monitoring or travel monitoring experience preferred
- Strong typing skills and basic computer proficiency (comfort with GE Carescape is a plus)
- Good attendance record and reliable professional demeanor
- English reading/writing proficiency and strong communication skills
- Preferred: CNA background, cardiac nursing experience, ECG board certification, or previous GE monitoring experience
Education
- No specific degree required; required certifications: None (per job posting)
- High school diploma or equivalent commonly expected for monitor tech roles
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry and cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Remote patient monitoring workflows and protocols
- GE Carescape system familiarity (adding/discharging patients, end-of-shift reports)
- Ability to manage very high patient-to-tech ratios (40+ patients per tech)
- Proficient typing, desktop phone communication, and iPhone app usage
- Strong multitasking, attention to detail, organization, and calm under stress
