Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered critical care to adults in the ICU and Med/Surg settings
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, hemodynamics, and ventilator parameters to guide care
• Administer medications, manage infusions and titrate therapies safely and accurately
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans
• Document assessments, treatments and patient progress accurately in the medical record
• Support patients and families with clear communication, education and compassionate care
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement and safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado
• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN); BSN preferred
• Current BLS required
• Current ACLS required
• PALS preferred
• Experience working in ICU and/or Med/Surg environments

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical care assessment and clinical decision-making
• Ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring familiarity
• Medication administration and infusion pump competence
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple high-acuity patients
• Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams and families
• Proficiency with electronic health records and documentation best practices
