Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist to help patients regain function
• Deliver therapeutic exercise, massage, gait training and balance training tailored to each patient
• Document patient progress thoroughly and accurately after each treatment session
• Communicate treatment results and patient status to the supervising physical therapist to support coordinated care
• Collaborate with the care team to develop and adjust treatment plans that meet patient goals
• Engage patients with clear instruction and encouragement to maximize outcomes and independence

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of PTA experience required
• Active Texas license or Compact license required
• Comfortable working under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist and following established care plans
• Proven ability to document patient progress and report treatment results clearly
• State license: Texas (Compact allowed)
• No references required at time of submission

Knowledge & Skills

• Therapeutic exercise techniques for strengthening and functional recovery
• Massage skills to support soft tissue mobilization and pain relief
• Gait training methods to improve mobility and safety
• Balance training to reduce fall risk and improve stability
• Accurate patient documentation and progress reporting
• Strong communication and collaboration with supervising physical therapists
