Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry for a high-volume central monitoring unit, keeping patient safety front and center
• Analyze and triage heart rhythms accurately and quickly to support timely clinical decisions
• Build end-of-shift reports and maintain accurate patient status within the GE Carescape system
• Add and discharge patients in the monitoring system to keep unit flow smooth
• Communicate clearly and calmly with floor staff via desktop phone and iPhone application
• Maintain a running call log and document events precisely for continuity of care
• Multitask across many patients while remaining composed during stressful situations
• Collaborate respectfully with an energetic, detail oriented team to deliver exceptional patient monitoring

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in telemetry/monitoring or related allied roles
• Previous travel experience working in remote monitoring preferred
• Telemetry competent and able to pass a basic cardiac rhythm test
• Strong ability to analyze and interpret heart rhythms
• Proficient typing and basic computer skills, including familiarity with iPhone apps
• Good attendance record and professional, dependable attitude
• CNA or cardiac nursing background preferred but not required
• ECG board certification and prior GE monitoring experience are nice to have

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Experience with GE Carescape monitoring system
• Remote patient monitoring workflows and high-volume patient management
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English
• Basic computer literacy and comfort with mobile applications
• Strong multitasking, organization, and attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
