Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor patient cardiac telemetry continuously using GE Carescape and other CMU systems
• Analyze and interpret heart rhythms quickly and accurately to escalate concerns when needed
• Build clear end-of-shift reports and maintain up-to-date patient lists in GE Carescape
• Add and discharge patients from the monitoring system to keep the unit running smoothly
• Communicate promptly and professionally with floor staff via desktop phone and iPhone application
• Keep accurate running call logs and document interventions meticulously
• Manage a high volume of patients (40+ per tech) while staying calm and organized under pressure
• Multi-task across monitoring screens, documentation, and team communications to ensure patient safety

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (explicit requirement)
• Previous travel experience working in remote monitoring (must-have)
• Telemetry competent and able to pass a basic cardiac rhythm test
• Able to analyze and interpret heart rhythms reliably
• Proficient typing and basic computer skills; comfortable using an iPhone application for clinical communication
• Good attendance record and professional reliability
• English reading and writing proficiency
• Preferred: CNA or cardiac nursing background, ECG Board Certification, and prior GE monitoring experience
• Required certifications: None listed

• Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm analysis
• Proficiency with GE Carescape monitoring systems
• Remote patient monitoring workflows and high-volume case management
• Clear telephone and mobile app communication with clinical teams
• Strong multitasking, attention to detail, and documentation skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations
• Familiarity with basic medical terminology and monitoring procedures
