Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 4x10 day shifts, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM (typically four days per week); On-call 1 night per week (call begins at end of shift until 6:30 AM); On-call every 4th weekend from end of shift Friday through 6:30 AM Monday; Day shift with on-call and rotating weekend coverage
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $79 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Scrub all cases tableside with the physician for coronary angiograms and interventions
- Set up and maintain sterile procedure tables and supplies for a wide variety of cases
- Serve as circulator when needed, ensuring smooth team workflow and patient safety
- Manage access sites including groin and radial approaches and post-procedure drains
- Support peripheral and IR procedures including thrombectomies and IVC filter cases
- Operate and assist with specialized devices such as Impella, IABP and atherectomy tools
- Document procedures and patient care accurately in the EMR (Meditech)
- Respond to on-call notifications within the required response time and provide emergent support
Qualifications
- Oregon license required
- Required certifications: Rad Tech and RCIS or ARRT (CI) or ARRT (CV) accepted
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of cath lab or relevant cath/IR experience
- Experience with sterile technique, setting up sterile tables, and scrubbing coronary angiograms
- Competence in access site management (groin, radial, drains) and device implants
- Familiarity with Impella, IABP and atherectomy devices preferred
- Radiation badge required for assignment (facility does not provide)
Education
- Radiologic technologist certificate or equivalent cath lab technologist training
- BSN not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on cath lab procedures including PCI, diagnostic caths, and device implants
- Peripheral angiogram/intervention and thrombectomy experience
- IR case experience such as IVC filter placement and other interventional radiology procedures
- Proficiency with Meditech charting and McKesson/GE imaging equipment
- Strong sterile technique and ability to function as scrub tech and circulator
- STEMI care workflow and rapid response in emergent cath lab situations
- Ability to work on-call rotations and respond within the facility response time
