Roles & Responsibilities

• Circulate and monitor cath and IR cases to ensure patient safety and efficient workflow
• Perform thorough pre-procedure and post-procedure assessments and patient calls
• Provide vigilant intra-procedure patient monitoring and support to the procedural team
• Collaborate with cardiologists, techs, and nursing leadership to coordinate care and respond to emergent situations (STEMI/NSTEMI, pacemaker cases)
• Document patient care accurately in Epic and support use of MacLab and Siemens systems
• Participate in unit call rotation and respond within the established 30-minute call response time

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Colorado (must be able to submit DL and be in-state for orientation week)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience; prior Cath Lab experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• IR experience or willingness to learn IR procedures preferred
• Comfortable with Epic electronic charting and MacLab/Siemens equipment
• Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes and participate in weekend/holiday rotations

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Cath Lab nursing fundamentals including circulating and patient monitoring
• Pre- and post-procedure patient care and education
• Experience with Epic electronic medical record documentation
• Familiarity with MacLab and Siemens systems
• Skill managing acute cardiac cases such as STEMI, NSTEMI, and pacemaker procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork in a combined cath/IR lab environment
