Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Typical schedule: four 10-hour day shifts (4x10s), 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (schedule set by manager). Night/on-call coverage as needed: weekdays 5:30 PM - 7:00 AM with a 30-minute call response expectation, plus one weekend per month starting Friday end of day through Monday 7:00 AM. Primary day shifts with rotating on-call and weekend coverage.
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $83 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Scrub and assist during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Monitor patients intra-procedure and provide vigilant observation in pre and post procedure areas
- Support percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) and right/left heart caths with expert technique
- Maintain radiation safety standards and wear/track your personal radiation badge
- Float to GI and IR cases and adapt to changing case mixes with professionalism
- Complete accurate documentation in EPIC and assist with charting workflows
- Respond to on-call requests within the required 30-minute response time when scheduled
- Collaborate with the team to keep the lab running efficiently and provide excellent patient care
Qualifications
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) via CCI or ARRT (CI) required
- Washington Radiologic Technologist license required
- Traveler must provide personal radiation badge; facility will not provide
- Minimum 2 years of interventional cardiac cath lab experience
- Comfortable scrubbing, monitoring, and providing pre/post procedural care
- Willingness to float to GI and IR and participate in on-call rotation
- Epic experience preferred; GE MacLab experience a plus
- BLS and ACLS preferred
Education
- Formal radiologic or cardiovascular technologist training or equivalent clinical experience
- RCIS or ARRT (CI) certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Interventional cardiac catheterization workflows and sterile technique
- Right and left heart catheterization and PCI familiarity
- Radiation safety practices and personal badge tracking
- Proficient use of EPIC for documentation and GE MacLab equipment
- Strong teamwork, communication, and flexibility in a small staff environment
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced acute care cardiac cath lab
