Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with on-call responsibilities; flexible 8- or 10-hour shift options (ability to work 4x10s or 5x8s); 1 weeknight call per week (3:30 PM - 7:00 AM when on call, Mon-Thu), every 3rd weekend on-call (Fri to Mon morning, 24-hour coverage), and every-other-holiday on-call (20 minute response time) — rotating day coverage with night on-call duties

Candidate Pay Rate: $72 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Scrub for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures as a member of a 4-person team
- Maintain strict sterile technique and ensure a safe radiation environment (radiation badge required prior to start)
- Prepare and set up complex cath lab equipment and devices (IABP, Impella, IVUS, IFR/FFR, Rotapro, etc.)
- Anticipate clinician needs and assist during emergent revascularization and STEMI cases
- Document accurately in EPIC and support efficient case flow across three labs
- Collaborate with team leads, radiology techs and cardiology providers to deliver excellent patient care
- Respond to call within the required 20-minute response window and provide competent care during nights/weekends when on-call
Qualifications
- Current RN license (eligible to work in North Dakota)
- BLS and ACLS required prior to start
- Minimum 1 year of relevant Cath Lab or interventional cardiac nursing experience
- Radiation badge must be supplied and in-hand prior to start
- Comfortable with scrub duties only (scrub role; panning completed by Rad Tech)
- Ability to respond to call within 20 minutes and participate in rotating weekend/holiday on-call
- Experience with devices (IABP, Impella), imaging and interventional tools preferred (Shockwave, Laser, IVUS, IFR/FFR, Rotapro)
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred but not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong scrub technique, sterile field management and intra-procedural focus
- Familiarity with EPIC charting and procedural documentation
- Experience with Philips Xper (Hemo) and Siemens C-Arm imaging systems
- Knowledge of cardiac devices and interventional tools (IABP, Impella, temporary pacemakers, cardioversion, TEE)
- Ability to prioritize in emergent situations (STEMI, pericardiocentesis, complex device cases)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills within a multi-disciplinary cath lab team
