Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (Day) with 1-2 nights/week on-call, 1 weekend/month, and rotating holiday call; 30-minute on-call response time
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Scrub and assist the physician during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures to ensure smooth, safe cases
- Perform left heart catheterizations and assist with stent placements and device implantations including ICDs and pacemakers
- Monitor patients continuously and document case details accurately in EPIC and related systems
- Operate and troubleshoot cath lab equipment such as Siemens cath systems, Sensis, Apollo, and Phillips IVUS
- Support inpatient and outpatient adult cardiac populations with strong clinical judgment and calm under pressure
- Float between campuses as needed to provide consistent coverage across the network
- Respond to on-call activations within a 30-minute window to support emergent patient needs
- Participate in unit orientation and ongoing competency activities to maintain high-quality care
Qualifications
- ARRT or RCIS registration required at time of submittal
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year cath lab experience; 2 years preferred (job lists both 1 and 2 years explicitly)
- Experience with left heart catheterization, stent placement, and assisting with ICD/pacemaker implants
- Comfortable working with inpatient and outpatient adult cardiac populations
- Valid driver’s license required at submittal and must be within the specified radius rules
- Ability to float between campuses and meet a 30-minute on-call response time
Education
- Relevant cath lab technologist certification (ARRT or RCIS) required
- BLS certification required
- No BSN required as listed
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with EPIC charting and documentation
- Familiarity with Siemens cath systems, Siemens Sensis, Apollo, and Phillips IVUS
- Strong patient monitoring skills and accurate procedural documentation
- Skilled in scrub/assist techniques and sterile field management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary cardiac team
- Good communication skills for coordinating across three campuses and with cardiology teams
