Shift Type: 4 days/week, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM day shift; 10-hour shifts (guaranteed 40 hours/week). Role includes on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response expectation to home campus, minimum 10 weeknight call shifts, minimum 2 weekends per assignment, and holiday coverage as required. Schedule approved by supervisor.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide intra-procedural circulating support during Cardiac Cath and Interventional Radiology procedures
• Administer medications and assist with procedural sedation in accordance with policy
• Operate and assist with EPIC and Apollo cardiac charting to ensure accurate documentation
• Float between Immanuel, Lakeside and Mercy CB campuses as clinical needs require
• Respond to emergent call-backs promptly and professionally, maintaining a 30-minute response for the home campus
• Maintain radiation safety practices and use of provided radiation badge
• Assist the team in STEMI stabilization including management up to IABP when necessary
• Support unit workflow by preparing suites, managing supplies, and collaborating with the supervising charge

Qualifications

• RCIS certification required
• Current BLS and ACLS (AHA) required
• Valid driver’s license required at submittal and for on-call response
• Hospital-based Cardiac Cath/IR experience - posting indicates more than 3 years preferred (note: job header lists 2 years)
• Experience with Siemens imaging systems and EPIC/Apollo charting preferred
• Ability to float across multiple campuses and meet on-call response expectations
• Compliance with facility policies, including fingernail/artificial nail policy

Education

• RCIS certification (required)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Formal clinical training or associate degree in relevant allied health field preferred
• BSN not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong familiarity with Cardiac Cath and Interventional Radiology workflows
• Proficient in EPIC and Apollo cardiac charting
• Experience with Siemens imaging equipment
• Skilled in intra-procedural circulating, medication administration, and sedation support
• Knowledge of radiation safety practices and badge usage
• Comfort managing venous access, IABP support, and STEMI care pathways
• Good communication and teamwork skills for fast-paced acute care settings
