Shift Type: Days (schedule varies), 4x10 (06:45 AM - 05:15 PM) or 3x12 (06:45 AM - 07:15 PM), Day shift; on-call 4-5 times/month with approximately 1 weekend on-call per month

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert procedural support in the Cardiac Cath Lab, EP and IR cases to ensure smooth, efficient operations
- Operate and troubleshoot relevant cath lab equipment while maintaining sterile technique and patient safety
- Prepare procedure rooms and instruments, verify supplies, and anticipate physician needs during cases
- Document procedures and patient care accurately and promptly in Epic
- Respond to on-call activations and emergent cases with professionalism and composure
- Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians and tech team members to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
- Participate in orientation and continuing competency activities to maintain clinical excellence
Qualifications
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant Cardiac Cath Lab/EP/IR experience
- Current CVT training or equivalent experience with cardiac catheterization equipment
- Demonstrated ability to work on-call rotations (minimum of 3 days/month available for call)
- Comfortable charting in Epic and working in a high-volume Level I Trauma setting
Education
- CVT training or relevant cardiovascular technologist education preferred
- RCIS certification (required)
- BLS certification (required)
- BSN not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of Cardiac Cath Lab, EP and IR procedural workflows
- Familiarity with cath lab imaging and monitoring equipment
- Proficient with Epic EMR documentation and charting
- Excellent aseptic technique and sterile field management
- Clear communication, teamwork and the ability to prioritize in emergent situations
- Ability to adapt to variable shift patterns and on-call demands
