Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and procedural rooms for interventional radiology cases with attention to comfort and safety
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment under physician direction to ensure high-quality fluoroscopic guidance
• Maintain sterile technique and assist the IR team during procedures to support optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor and document patient status before, during, and after procedures, escalating concerns promptly
• Manage inventory and ensure procedural supplies and radiation safety protocols are followed
• Complete accurate procedure documentation and contribute to a smooth handoff at shift change

Qualifications

• BLS certification (required)
• License/certificate verification as required by state regulations
• Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist prior to start
• Successful completion of required health screenings: fit test, Trinity 10-panel drug screen, color vision check
• Up-to-date immunizations per facility policy: COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, 2-step PPD or IGRA
• Ability to pass a physical/health statement and fulfill facility onboarding requirements

• Comfortable working in an interventional radiology environment with fluoroscopy and procedural imaging
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique and procedure room workflow
• Radiation safety awareness and adherence to ALARA principles
• Patient positioning and monitoring for procedural sedation
• Clear communication and teamwork skills for fast-paced procedural care
• Accurate documentation and attention to detail
