Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and procedural rooms for interventional radiology cases with attention to comfort and safety
- Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment under physician direction to ensure high-quality fluoroscopic guidance
- Maintain sterile technique and assist the IR team during procedures to support optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor and document patient status before, during, and after procedures, escalating concerns promptly
- Manage inventory and ensure procedural supplies and radiation safety protocols are followed
- Complete accurate procedure documentation and contribute to a smooth handoff at shift change
Qualifications
- BLS certification (required)
- License/certificate verification as required by state regulations
- Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist prior to start
- Successful completion of required health screenings: fit test, Trinity 10-panel drug screen, color vision check
- Up-to-date immunizations per facility policy: COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, 2-step PPD or IGRA
- Ability to pass a physical/health statement and fulfill facility onboarding requirements
Education

Knowledge & Skills
- Comfortable working in an interventional radiology environment with fluoroscopy and procedural imaging
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique and procedure room workflow
- Radiation safety awareness and adherence to ALARA principles
- Patient positioning and monitoring for procedural sedation
- Clear communication and teamwork skills for fast-paced procedural care
- Accurate documentation and attention to detail
