Shift Type: Primarily day shift, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM; rotating on-call STEMI coverage 6-8 shifts/month which includes a full weekend on-call period (Friday 5:30 PM - Monday 7:00 AM); shift type: day with rotating on-call
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care in the cardiac cath lab and prep/recovery areas for cardiac cath, PCI, and vascular procedures
- Perform RN circulating duties during cardiac catheterization and vascular cases to ensure patient safety and efficient workflow
- Assess, prepare, and recover patients pre- and post-procedure with attention to hemodynamic and procedural needs
- Respond as an on-call member of the STEMI emergency team, delivering rapid, high-quality care in emergent situations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, documentation, and handoffs
- Complete specialty competency testing and skills checklists to maintain procedural excellence and compliance
Qualifications
- Current NYS Registered Nurse license (required)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (current)
- Procedural cardiac cath lab experience and demonstrated competency in circulator role
- Experience participating on an emergency STEMI on-call team
- Ability to pass Trinity specialty competency testing, drug screen, fit test, and required health screenings/vaccinations
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required (Associate Degree in Nursing or BSN commonly held) to qualify for RN licensure
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of cardiac catheterization, PCI, and vascular procedures
- Skill in patient prep, intra-procedural monitoring, and post-procedure recovery care
- Familiarity with STEMI protocols and rapid response workflows
- Proven ability to function effectively as RN circulator in a procedural environment
- Comfortable following specialty checklists and competency frameworks
