Roles & Responsibilities

• Scrub for cardiac and vascular procedures, ensuring sterile technique and patient safety
• Monitor patients and hemodynamic data during interventions to support optimal outcomes
• Circulate in the cath lab to coordinate instruments, supplies, and team needs smoothly
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and techs to deliver efficient procedural care
• Maintain and troubleshoot cath lab equipment to minimize downtime
• Participate in Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklists to demonstrate proficiency
• Complete accurate documentation and assist with patient handoffs and post-procedure care
• Adhere to infection control, licensing, and facility-specific health requirements

Qualifications

• CVT or Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) credential — primary disciplines for this role
• RCIS or RT(R) certification preferred but not required
• BLS certification required prior to start
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in cardiac catheterization and vascular procedures
• Must be within a 50-mile radius of the facility (local candidates only — no local travelers)
• Successful completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and specialty competency testing
• License/certificate verification and up-to-date health screenings/immunizations required

Education

• Completion of an accredited CVT program or Radiologic Technology program preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong familiarity with cath lab workflow, instrumentation, and sterile technique
• Proficient in intra-procedural monitoring and basic hemodynamic interpretation
• Ability to scrub, circulate, and monitor during complex cardiac and vascular cases
• Comfortable with team communication in high-acuity procedural settings
• Detail-oriented documentation and adherence to safety protocols
• Adaptability for on-call coverage and weekend rotations
