Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners to capture high-quality diagnostic images that directly inform patient care
• Prepare and position patients safely and compassionately, ensuring comfort and accurate imaging
• Follow imaging protocols and perform routine quality checks on equipment to maintain excellent image standards
• Adhere to radiation safety and infection control practices to protect patients and staff
• Accurately document procedures, patient history, and image details in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to support timely diagnosis and treatment
• Complete required competency testing and Trinity skills checklists to demonstrate and maintain proficiency

Qualifications

• ARRT-CT certification required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• Valid state license/certification as required; license/certificate verification required
• Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
• Required immunizations and health screenings: COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, Tdap, 2-step PPD or IGRA, Trinity Color Vision, Fit Test, Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen, and a current physical/health statement
• Strong patient care skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced imaging environment

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technologist program preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in CT imaging protocols and patient positioning
• Knowledge of radiation safety principles and infection control
• Comfortable with routine CT equipment troubleshooting and maintenance checks
• Skilled in accurate documentation and use of electronic medical records
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with radiologists and clinical teams
• Attention to detail for high-quality images and thorough records
