Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms and cardiac ultrasound studies with attention to image detail
• Collaborate closely with cardiology and nursing teams to provide timely, actionable imaging results
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic medical record
• Ensure ultrasound equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and ready for patient use
• Complete Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist as required
• Verify patient identity, explain procedures clearly, and deliver compassionate bedside care
• Adhere to infection control, immunization, and health screening requirements for a safe workplace

Qualifications

• Registered Echocardiographer credential (as indicated in the posting)
• Current BLS certification (required)
• License/Certificate Verification completed and up to date
• Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
• Ability to meet personal health requirements: Fit Test, Trinity 10-panel drug screen, color vision, required vaccines and TB testing

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in echocardiography and cardiac ultrasound imaging
• Strong patient communication and compassionate bedside manner
• Attention to detail for accurate image acquisition and documentation
• Familiarity with clinical workflows and working within a multidisciplinary team
• Comfortable with competency testing and meeting facility compliance standards
