Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images with care and precision
• Position and prepare patients, explaining procedures clearly and compassionately
• Follow safety protocols and radiation protection standards for patients and staff
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to ensure accurate imaging and timely results
• Complete required documentation, maintain patient records, and manage imaging workflow
• Participate in Trinity skills checklist and specialty competency testing to maintain clinical excellence
• Respond to emergency situations calmly and assist with urgent imaging needs

Qualifications

• Current state license or certification for CT technologists; license/certificate verification required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing
• Required personal health clearances: COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Fit Test, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot), Varicella, physical/health statement, Trinity 10 panel drug screen, Trinity color vision
• Prior CT experience and familiarity with cross-sectional imaging protocols preferred
• Comfort working night shifts and providing patient-centered care during overnight hours

Education

• Associate degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology or related field; ARRT registration or state registry preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and cross-sectional anatomy
• Proficient with PACS, imaging post-processing, and basic troubleshooting
• Excellent patient positioning and communication skills for diverse populations
• Knowledge of radiation safety and infection control practices
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced imaging environment
• Team-oriented approach with clear clinical communication skills
