Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology imaging procedures with precision and patient-centered care
• Prepare and maintain the IR suite, ensuring sterile technique and equipment readiness
• Operate imaging equipment and assist the physician during fluoroscopic, CT-guided, and contrast procedures
• Monitor and document patient status before, during, and after procedures to ensure safety and quality outcomes
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimize procedure flow and patient experience
• Complete accurate procedural documentation and assist with inventory and supply management

Qualifications

• ASRT certification (required)
• Valid Connecticut DPH License (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Current licensure and ability to pass License/Certificate Verification
• Willingness to complete Trinity Skills Checklist and required health screenings
• Strong communication skills and comfort working in a fast-paced IR environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of interventional radiology procedures and workflow
• Fluoroscopy and CT imaging operation and radiation safety principles
• Patient positioning, IV/contrast administration basics, and sterile technique
• Ability to troubleshoot imaging equipment and maintain procedural sterility
• Clear documentation practices and familiarity with procedural checklists
• Teamwork, adaptability, and patient-focused communication
