Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms to keep patients safe
• Perform focused assessments and respond to clinical changes quickly and confidently
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol and document thoroughly
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Provide patient and family education around cardiac conditions and discharge planning
• Participate in emergency response and follow ACLS/TNCC protocols when needed
• Maintain accurate, timely electronic charting and handoffs to ensure continuity

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license with verifiable License/Certificate Verification
• BLS (required)
• ACLS (required)
• TNCC (required)
• NIHSS (required)
• Successful completion of Fit Test and Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen
• Up-to-date immunizations and health screenings (COVID-19, MMR, Hep B, Influenza, Tdap, Varicella, PPD/IGRA)
• Prior telemetry experience preferred; night-shift experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition
• IV therapy and medication administration skills
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking
• Clear, compassionate patient communication and education
• Proficiency with electronic health records and documentation
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced acute care environment
