Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents — assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Monitor and record vital signs and resident condition accurately and promptly
- Support safe mobility: assist with transfers, ambulation, and positioning
- Document resident care clearly in charts and communicate changes to the nursing team
- Promote comfort and dignity by responding to resident needs with patience and respect
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver coordinated care
- Maintain infection control standards and a clean, safe environment
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential — required
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain quickly)
- Comfortable assisting with activities of daily living and basic patient care
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an approved CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic nursing care and infection control practices
- Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
- Familiarity with charting and basic documentation
- Good interpersonal skills and comfort working with older adults
- Time management and prioritization during busy evening shifts
- Team collaboration and clear communication with nurses and support staff
