Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform complex testing across Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank and Microbiology with accuracy and care
• Maintain strict adherence to quality control protocols and document results reliably
• Troubleshoot instruments and testing issues and escalate when necessary
• Support lab safety and compliance by following established procedures and best practices
• Multitask across disciplines during busy periods while preserving test integrity
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely specimen processing and patient-focused service

Qualifications

• Current and active Nevada State General Supervisor license (required)
• Proven experience performing testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank and Microbiology
• Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment
• Solid knowledge of quality control, documentation, and laboratory safety standards
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical laboratory techniques in Chemistry and Hematology
• Blood Bank procedures and compatibility testing
• Microbiology specimen handling and culture work
• Quality control processes and documentation
• Laboratory safety, infection control and regulatory compliance
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation
