Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners to capture high-quality diagnostic images for patient care
• Prepare patients with compassion, explain procedures, and ensure their comfort
• Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain strict infection control standards
• Collaborate with radiologists and the clinical team to optimize imaging and workflow
• Perform routine quality control checks and report any equipment issues promptly
• Maintain accurate patient records and image documentation in line with facility policies
• Complete required checklists and competency evaluations such as the Trinity Skills Checklist

Qualifications

• ARRT(R)(CT) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• License/certificate verification as required by employer
• Ability to pass pre-employment requirements including Trinity 10 panel drug screen, fit test, and required immunizations
• Comfort working independently during weekend shifts and supporting occasional on-call needs

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and patient positioning
• Solid understanding of radiation safety and dose reduction techniques
• Familiarity with maintaining imaging equipment and performing routine QC
• Good communication skills for interacting with patients and care teams
• Ability to navigate electronic imaging systems and document accurately
